Ashtabula Yacht Club

Welcome to the Ashtabula Yacht Club

The Ashtabula Yacht Club is located in northeast Ohio, 60 miles east of Cleveland. It sits in a protected harbor on the Ashtabula River, approximately 1/2 mile south of the lighthouse on Lake Erie.  We are very proud to be a part of the newly renovated Ashtabula Harbor historical district.

Our club was founded in 1924 and we currently have more than 150 members and 125 docks that accommodate both powerboats and sailboats ranging between 24' and 50'.  We have invested in the future of Ashtabula, recently purchasing a 35 ton travel lift and replacing more than 600 feet of bulkhead.  We have a reputation for friendliness and great accommodations, a great sail and racing program and features to interest everybody.

Ashtabula has become a destination port with world class restaurants, live music, shopping, great beaches, fishing and close proximity to dozens of wineries and the resort of Geneva on the Lake.

CBP Update re: Clearing Customs

CBP Station at AYC Clubhouses have been removed!

Joanne Pritchard 0 0

Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) reviewed the two stations at AYC and determined they had not been used in a "few years". They removed the IPADS and the stands. They noted that CBP is not updating the software on the fixed locations and are phasing these out over time. Boaters are encouraged to use the CBP Roam app on their phones for the latest functionality and information!
